*A New Chapter at JDS: Community, Practice, and Exciting Updates*

Updated: Jul 24

Greetings, JDS Community!

As I settle back into life in Indonesia, I am filled with excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to immerse myself fully in my personal practice. Travel often pulls me in many directions, with visits and engagements reducing the time I can dedicate to deepening my practice. Now, back home, I’m thrilled to focus on enhancing how we do things at JDS and share some exciting updates with you all.

Revamping Our Resources

One of the first projects I am diving into is updating our meditation and 'how to' library. Expect to see new short classes focusing on specific poses we've been working on or are planning to introduce into our sequences. Additionally, I am creating 15-20 minute classes to offer you more flexibility in your practice schedule. These bite-sized sessions will be perfect for fitting yoga into your busy day, ensuring you can maintain your practice no matter how hectic life gets.

Time for a Change? Community Vote on Class Timing

During the pandemic, we introduced a Monday 2 PM UK class to accommodate our friends in the USA. However, as we move forward, I've noticed fewer international members joining live sessions, although I appreciate your glowing feedback on our on-demand library. To better serve our European tribe, I’m considering moving this class to 1 PM UK time. This change aims to make the live sessions more accessible to our European members who have expressed a preference for an earlier start.

I value your input, so let's do a community vote! If you’re okay with changing the class time to 1 PM UK (one hour earlier), you don’t need to do anything. If you strongly oppose this change, please drop us an email at HQ (team@jambodragon.com) and we will explore other options.

Hands-On Assists and Upcoming Trainings

Over the next month, I will be recording all the hands-on assists that I know. You are invited to join me for any part of these sessions, whether it’s for a single day, a weekend, or the entire programme. Classes can be attended live or on demand, providing you with the flexibility to join as your schedule allows. The immersion in Marseille is designed for yoga practitioners interested in delving deeper into the Forrest Yoga style.
