Day 1: Prepping the Soil

 

Intent: How to pick a spot: What do I wish to liberate from my body and mind?

               •             Morning Yoga:

Focus on deep activation of the breath-body connection through abdominal work and flowing spinal movements.

               •             Techniques: Gentle twists, spinal undulations, and core-engaging sequences to awaken the central axis (spine) as a channel of life force energy, rooting into the earth.

               •             Afternoon Bodywork:

Meeting Tension: Identifying what desires to be changed.

               •             Techniques:

               •             The Caress: A light touch technique to awaken body awareness and invite release.

               •             Diaphragm Release: Techniques to soften tension in the central core.

               •             Still Points: Introducing moments of stillness to promote deep shifts in the nervous system.

               •             Grounding Techniques: Facilitating a sense of stability and ease in the body.

 

Day 2: Mapping the System for the Release Project

 

Intent: Meeting vulnerability with empowerment.

               •             Morning Yoga:

Therapeutic twists to unravel stored tension along the spine, chest, and ribs.

               •             Techniques: Focus on seated and reclining twists paired with breathwork to deepen somatic awareness and encourage organic release.

               •             Afternoon Bodywork:

Releasing tension around the heart, focusing on the chest, ribs, and upper back.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Gentle fascia work to soften restrictions in the thoracic region.

               •             Opening the rib cage through hands-on adjustments and breath-centric release.

               •             Partner-based techniques to explore boundaries and connection.

 

Day 3: The Day of Release

 

Intent: Empowering your organic rate of release.

               •             Morning Yoga:

Pigeons and Their Pendulums: A deep dive into hip-opening postures with dynamic flow to explore pendulum-like movements.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Variations of Pigeon Pose to access different angles of hip flexibility.

               •             Gentle swaying and pulsing to promote somatic release in the lower body.

               •             Afternoon Bodywork:

Letting go of core emotional patterns stored in the abdomen, abdominal organs, and hips.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Myofascial release for the abdominal fascia and visceral manipulation to connect with the organs.

               •             Techniques to address emotional patterns stored in the iliopsoas and pelvic region.

               •             Grounding exercises to stabilize after emotional release.

 

Day 4: Activating Life’s Passions

 

Intent: Re-mapping the neural bridges to reconnect with creativity and joy as the body’s natural state.

               •             Morning Yoga:

Heart-opening backbends to ignite passion and emotional liberation.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Progressive backbends such as Sphinx Pose, Camel Pose, and Wheel Pose tailored to individual needs.

               •             Breath-focused heart-opening sequences to foster courage and joy.

               •             Afternoon Bodywork:

Releasing tension in the shoulders, forearms, and wrists to create freedom for expression.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Trigger point release in the shoulders and forearms.

               •             Assisted stretching for the wrists to increase mobility.

               •             Partner work to create a sense of support and lightness in these often-overburdened areas.

 

Day 5: Embodying the Drive

 

Intent: Rooting generative energy in physical alignment and strength.

               •             Morning Yoga:

Standing pose series paired with calf release techniques to build strength and stability.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Strong grounding poses like Warrior Series and Chair Pose to establish a connection to the earth.

               •             Calf-focused stretches and self-massage techniques to promote ease in movement.

               •             Afternoon Bodywork:

Addressing the calves, ankles, and feet to solidify the foundation of generative power.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Reflexology-inspired footwork to support grounding and alignment.

               •             Thai stretches for calves and ankles.

               •             Gentle mobilization techniques to improve foot mechanics.

 

Day 6: Integration and Reboot

 

Intent: Weaving the physical, emotional, and energetic body into a new state of balance.

               •             Morning Yoga:

The Orgastic Hips & Shoulders: An integrative flow to unite movement and breath for full-body release and joy.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Dynamic transitions through hip-opening and shoulder-strengthening poses.

               •             Closing restorative poses to embody balance and integration.

               •             Afternoon Bodywork:

Curating the Bodywork Journey: Teaching advanced still points and full-body integration techniques.

               •             Techniques:

               •             Review and practice of the week’s bodywork, highlighting individualized approaches.

               •             Advanced still point techniques to anchor the nervous system.

               •             Closing partner-based bodywork to celebrate connection and healing.

Brian Campbell is a seasoned Forrest Yoga Guardian, bodyworker, and international teacher with over two decades of experience in therapeutic bodywork and yoga instruction. Renowned for his precise understanding of anatomy, myofascial release techniques, and energetic bodywork, Brian specializes in helping people transform deeply held patterns in their bodies. His teaching integrates the principles of structural alignment with emotional and energetic release, creating a holistic approach to healing. Jambo Truong

 

Jambo Truong is a multi-disciplinary teacher with expertise in Forrest Yoga, Chinese Medicine, functional anatomy, and bodywork for trauma healing. With a strong foundation in biomechanics, somatic practices, and traditional medicine, Jambo brings a unique perspective that bridges modern therapeutic techniques with ancient wisdom. His teaching focuses on liberating core tension, emotional release, and somatic empowerment, helping individuals reconnect with their generative energy and life purpose.
